Full Mouth Dental Rehabilitation

For many who have been neglecting their dental health or missing regular dental check-ups for years, full mouth rehabilitation may be an option, which can help restore their oral health & function and improve the appearance of their smile. Full mouth restoration, also known as Prosthodontics, is a dental speciality which primarily focuses on complex dental issues.

If you have severely decayed teeth or multiple broken or worn teeth, then full mouth reconstruction may be recommended. It may also used as a treatment for complicated bites (malocclusions) when Orthodontics is not an option. Extensive dental damage, if not rectified, can affect the health of the remaining teeth. It can also cause issues with eating as well as speaking. Thus, as a premier dental clinic in Sunshine Coast , we offer Full Mouth Dental Rehabilitation services that help produce excellent results, greatly improving your overall dental and oral  health.

Full Mouth Dental Restoration Procedure

To achieve a flawless make-over of your full mouth, consulting with a skilled dentist is of utmost importance. At our dental clinic, we thoroughly examine our patient’s dental condition; teeth, gum tissues, supporting bone, jaw joints & bites, using the best of technology. This analysis gives us an overview of the extent of the damage, which helps us to recommend the exact treatment. Here it is important to note that each dental restoration procedure varies in length and scope. Some can be done quickly, while others would require a longer time to ensure your mouth rehabilitation not only has a great form and functions well but also looks perfect. X-rays and impressions of the teeth will also be taken, which will help us to create a smile design for you.

Treatments For Full Mouth Dental Reconstruction

When it comes to full mouth dental reconstruction, a combination of cosmetic and restorative dentistry services may be used to achieve the desired results. Being a specialized procedure, each treatment is customised to suit the needs of the patient. In some cases, restoring/replacing each tooth would also be necessary. Thus, here is a list of dental services that can be used for full mouth dental restoration.
